Cælestis created history among prestigious vineyards of Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés (Classified Growth) by launching this initiative in celebration of WWF’s recent 50th anniversary.
Oscar winner JAN A.P. KACZMAREK handles now not a real Oscar but a bottle of Cælestis which he autographed: “Pure wine brings great inspiration to my music”. The fruit of such inspiration – “Cælestis Impromtu” can be heard on internet site: http://www.caelestis-bio.com (Jan A.P. Kaczmarek is also the founder of the “Transatlantyk” – Poznan International Film & Music Festival).
A limited edition of the Cælestis biodynamic* wine has been created in honour of the vital conservation work of WWF. Each Cælestis bottle is presented in a special handcrafted case made of recycled centenary wood and accompanied by an inspiring nature photograph dedicated by the CEO of WWF-UK.
Out of the total 176 Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés there are only 4 organic wines (including 3 bio-dynamic wines) making Cælestis one of the rarest biodynamic Grands Crus Classés wines, not to mention its symbolic and original label dedicated by the celebrity.
Cælestis excellent vintage 2009 considered as the best Bordeaux vintage in recent times originates from the prestigious Château Fonroque Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé. It is dedicated by its renowned producer and oenologist Alain Moueix: “Thanks to the vine stock which is the true artist who captures music of the Stars and the vitality of the soil, I work towards achieving an authentic and harmonious wine.”
ALL PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO THE LOCAL WWF

Cælestis is an international biodynamic wine project aiming to raise awareness about the environmental implications of wine production and consumption while raising funds for WWF.
*Bio-dynamic wines are ecological wines produced without any artificial chemical fertilisers, insecticides, fungicides and herbicides and without the use of additives in wine. Bio-dynamic viticulture and the processing of the grapes go beyond organic standards in that they are treated as a holistic system including the influence of cosmos.
