Brand Phoenix teams up to launch new range for charity

Brand Phoenix, Red Lion Foods and Sainsbury’s have teamed up to launch a range of wines to raise profits for the Royal British Legion in the run up to Remembrance Sunday.

The South African brand, Battlefield Wines will be on sale exclusively in Sainsbury’s stores across the country from October 1, with 100% of post-tax profits go to the UK forces charities and British servicemen and women.

Battlefield Wines are available in Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc variants (rrp £9.99) with promotional activity planned to encourage consumer engagement with the wines.

Steve Barton, UK director of Brand Phoenix, which owns South African, First Cape brand, said: “The launch of Battlefield Wines is the first part of a long-term campaign which will see us help a number of charitable causes.”
