This rather delightful tasting note was emailed in by Marco Napolitano, owner of North and South Wines LTD.
The picture above needs updating.
Attractive bottle Striking red label.
Ultra bright and clean, bright gloss ruby in colour , with light delicate rim almost opaque.
On the nose cassis, ripe blackcurrant with subtle perfumed violet notes.
On the palate the cassis fruit is lean and well structured through the palate, leading to a long summer fruit compote finish.
Elegant and poised with medium body, surprising minerality, good tannic grip,(even though this can be aged, Chilling it lightly would make a picnic treat this summer) still great drinking now, assume would develope to be a belter in a few years or 5.
Verdict drink it for summer now! Or if you can wait it will reward volumes 4-8 years.
